About ASOC

ASOC provides a support tool for social workers or home visitors in the form of a mobile device application. The objective of ASOC is to support and complement the complexity, variety and risk of the social interventions that social workers deal with in their daily lives through a series of functionalities that cover both their safety and support them through alerts, access to all the information of those assisted, as well as supporting information, etc. It also provides a web control panel to which the central services will have access in order to be able to track the activities carried out by the workers.

ASOC application for mobile devices : assists social workers in the development of their work under a framework of safety, support and efficiency.

  • Security: ASOC allows an audio transmission of the intervention through the mobile device of the assistant. This audio is processed by means of feeling analysis techniques based on “deep learning” with a view to detecting situations of stress/aggressiveness in the patient that could endanger the physical integrity of the assistant.
  • Support –ASOC supports the social worker through:
    • Automatic generation of alerts obtained from:
      • Monitoring of the physical state of the assistant during the
        intervention to automatically detect possible stress situations (by
        means of an activity bracelet);
      • Alert button, in case the assistant detects a possible risk situation;
    • Digitization of patient information dand intervention reports as well as access to tutorials and guidelines on procedures to follow in certain situations that may arise to the caregiver;
    • In case of foreign patients, language detection through deep learning techniques and translation functionalities into the selected language as it is impossible to have experts with knowledge of every possible language.
  • Efficiency – Data from patient information, post-intervention reports and patient audio analyses will be processed at higher levels of complexity with a view to extracting patterns such as the degree of incidence of a disease in a given location, the places
    where the greatest number of risk situations occur, type of social services most in demand, etc.

Web Control Panel: it will be used for the access of central services to the ASOC system and will allow them:

  • Tracking of the social worker’s activities – that will allow you to record in the web application where the worker is and how much time he spends on each visit.
  • Social worker stress level monitoring – that is, monitoring the social worker’s physical state in order to uncover stress symptoms with the information from the activity bracelet.
  • Planning visits for workers in order to have an organization and an allocation between patient-caregivers.
  • Notification of Alerts in critical situations either detected by the stress wristband or because the assistant presses the alarm button.
  • Upload tutorials that can be of help and support to social workers in the development of sessions with patients.
  • For each patient you will also be able to upload and consult their information as well as previous sessions that have been recorded using the ASOC application on the assistant’s phone.
